Working with Faithstar, a social enterprise, who was both our host and client, I embarked on my first qualitative research project as outlined below:- Designed a 4-week qualitative study in a team of four entitled ““A Different Kind of GP service – A look into the current state of GP services” focused on post-COVID-19 general practice services- Performed thematic analysis on topics discussed by service users and GPs during a mix of face to face and virtual interviews to develop a set of policy recommendations- Disseminated findings using a multi-modal approach (film, poster and presentation) to raise awareness of unequal access and distribution in the local community and how they have been navigated and addressed with a particular focus on minority communities- Recognised by the University of Sheffield Student Body as being the 'Best Project' within our Voting BlockCommunication was the key word for this project. Developing a research project from the ground-up in such time constraints meant that close collaboration with stakeholders was vital to ensure that the project brief was met and timely delivery was accomplished.
