Working on several research studies and clinical trials:1- "Sleep Apnea Treatment with Positive Airway Pressure for Prevention of Diabetes Mellitus" funded by the NIHResponsibilities include:• Comparing Recruitment Strategies for a Randomized Controlled Trial in Sleep Apnea and Prediabetes.• Screening, consenting, and demonstrating to the participants how to use the ambulatory sleep study devices; ApneaLink and NOX A1.• Measuring A1C level, centrifuging blood and shipping blood samples.• Interpreting, reporting, and entering trial results data into REDCap.2- "The Collaboration Linking Opioid Use Disorder and Sleep ('CLOUDS') Study" funded by the NHLBIResponsibilities include:• Creation of the Case Report Forms (CRFs).• Weekly screening of new admits through the Epic EMR.• Participant recruitment, execution of study procedures, and follow-up.• Training the study team on the NOX A1 device, performing, and scoring overnight polysomnographystudies.3- "Crossover Trial of AD109 in Obstructive Sleep Apnea" funded by ApnimedResponsibilities include:• Adapting the infrastructure at Yale Sleep Centers for study execution.• Screening patients by going through their medical records on Epic EMR.• Creation of the manual of operations and the CRFs.• Participant recruitment, execution of study procedures and follow-up.• Adhering to all appropriate quality standards including ICH-GCP guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applicable regulations and guidance.• Maintaining Investigator Site File (ISF).

- Investigated the physiology of LBNP induced hypovolemia in healthy volunteers.- Monitored patients using EKG, tissue oximetry (cerebral and tissue), continuous BP, pulse oximetry in3 different sites (nasal, ear and finger) and continuous cardiac output utilizing NICOM.- Analyzed the waveforms utilizing LabChart software program.- Worked on a project measuring estimated blood loss, massive blood transfusion, and blood productsusage (RBCs, FFP, cryoprecipitate, and platelets) from obstetric patients.- Compared the traditional massive transfusion protocol (MTP) versus the goal directed blood productusage guided by point of care rotational thromboelastogram (ROTEM) over the last 5 years in hemorrhagicobstetric patients- Presented two abstracts as a first author and co-authored 7 abstracts.

● Recorded and analyzed patient data of all infants admitted to the UCONN Health Center NICU from January 1st, 1990 to December 31st, 2018.● Determined the incidence and identified the risk factors associated with pulmonary hemorrhage in infants.● Compared risk factors, associations, and outcomes of pulmonary hemorrhage between preterm infants and late preterm/term infants.● Determine risk factors associated with mortality in patients with pulmonary hemorrhage.● Poster presentation at Connecticut Children’s Neonatal Research Symposium 2020.● Platform presentation at the ESPR 2020 meeting.

● Assisted in developing a research protocol for a case-control study on the maternal use of acetazolamide and its effect on neonates● Drafted and published a brief report for the study to the Journal of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
