My current job at Mesiniaga Berhad and subsequently was augmented at MDEC which carries the role of Application Support Analyst.My work would involved the core responsibility, which is BAU (Business As Usual) team. In that, I'm making sure that all systems are running optimally in MDEC.Additional responsibility would be as a technical advisor to the project team. This requires me to be knowledgeable of all the systems in MDEC and theirinterconnection to other systems which consists of the network infrastructure and APIs.I was also tasked to administer all of MDEC's APIs. Be it currently using APIs or new APIs to be develop. I'll have to work closely with vendors toestablish best method of using APIs within MDEC's environment.Systems that I had full SDLC involvements includes the E-TMS for Jabatan Kehakiman Syariah Malaysia, GSpel System for GIATMARA and eQB for Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran. E-TMS is for Jabatan Kehakiman Syariah Malaysia. It's a training management system and built on Moodle CMS. GSpel is a system which they use to register students for GIATMARA's trainings. It's build on top of Codeigniter's PHP framework. eQB is a question bank system and able to store WIMs (Written Instruction Materials) and SLDNs (Sistem Latihan Dual National).My first assignment was to be seconded to Gulf Internation Technology Ventures WLL (GITV) which is based in Doha, Qatar. It was an e-learning project for Al-Israa Independent Primary Girls School. I was the only technical engineer based in Doha to facilitate and maintained the My-LMS system running on Windows Server 2003, its IBM rack servers including the whole school's network infrastructure. I was also task to provide training to teachers and the school's staffs on the use of Information Technology for their daily work. I was posted in Doha for 3 years.
