Roads and Transport Authority “RTA”, Safety and Risk Regulation and Planning Department - Crisis and Business Continuity Section: - Overall responsibility for Implementation and Management of RTA Crisis Management System and RTA Business Continuity Management System in coordination with RTA Agencies and Sectors and External Stakeholders. Facilitate Risk Assessments and Business Impact Assessments, and ensure adequate plans are in place to deal with identified Emergencies and Crisis. The role also requires coordination with external Stakeholders including NCEMA, Dubai Crisis Team and other Governmental Authorities of Dubai and UAE in planning and preparing for the Crisis Response. As part of the Crisis Management Team, act as a coordination point in responding to actual Crisis as per RTA Crisis Response Plan.

Responsible for coordinating crisis operations of RTA that required responding to Emergencies and Crisis as part of RTA Crisis Management Team. Prepared daily reports, monitoring the crisis operations systems, assisting to develop the crisis operations center, coordinating with stakeholders like Dubai Police, assisting and preparing drills and emergency plans, coordinating with external partners for benchmarking, supporting accident investigation team and assisting to accomplish Dubai Government Excellence Award.

Responsible for roads and service inspection which required daily supervision of the contractor work in Right of Way. Supervising & following up with daily reports, studying daily cases & issuing fines reports. Performing quality check of inspection section, preparing & submitting reports and correspondence required by Section. Studying the disputes & solving them, being a Member of the unit to verify the quality of the inspection. Headed the Engineering Support Team, responding to the objections of the contractors in writing and verbal inquiries, responsible for towing and the withdrawal of vehicles from the Right of the way in coordination with the police.
