Four areas make major portion of my involvement at RI business in Afghanistan:1-Program Management:I am responsible for detailed design, planning, coordination and implementation of the projects in the thematic areas of School Health Clubs, Youth Health Clubs, Project Support Committee and Zoonotic Control Committees aiming to promote One Health Concept among school students, youths, communities and health workers.2-Program Development/Capacity Building and Trainings:I am involved in preparation of concept notes, and proposals. I assist the Program Development Section in exploring potential business development opportunities. I am also responsible in staff capacity building in all parts of the project management including, project need assessments, monitoring, evaluation, quality assurance, developing surveys/assessments tools , as well as developing concepts and case studies to be presented to different donor agencies3- Coordination and Linkages Development:I am responsible for regular coordination with Education, Health, and livestock departments at Kabul and provincial level & target communities to present project design and seek local recommendations.I supervise the project team; orient them on project design, provide them with work plan, implementation strategy and reporting formats. I Represent Relief International with donors and Government for current and new interventions as focal/technical person.I coordinate activities with donor, UN agencies, I/NGOs and Government Ministries and Institutions.4- Operational Management:I supervise the staff of the project and am responsible for their effectiveness and efficiency, and following of RI rules and procedures.I manage to regularly conduct OHAP key staff meetings at the provincial levels of the target provinces for enhancing the quality of service delivery to the target beneficiaries’ quarterly lesson learned or SWOT analyze sessions have to be conducted on central and regional level.
