Responsible for training, implementing, and administering the company Safety, Health, and Accident prevention programs. Responsible for onsite observations, safety audits, behavioral assessment, ergonomics, JSA, and compliance. Responsible for incident/accident scene investigations and reporting to SCE and So Cal Gas Company. I’m also responsible for facilitating safety and environmental protection training; while ensuring safety and compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and regulations. Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and evaluating employee performance. Oversaw and conducted JSA/Safety Tasking for various Transmission and Distribution Projects. On-site Supervision for NTO’s/Circuit De-energization Component and Elbow removal. Vault wreck outs and new Vault Sets. Duct work, Mandreling, pulling new Primary Secondary and CIC. Pole Sets and Riser Tie Ins. Substation Tie Ins, temp Poling and Shoofly installations and removals. Oversaw Safety for STORM Projects, Tower Sets, Mountainous Pole Sets, and Helicopter Sets.
