• Design, Deploy and Maintain enterprise GTL networks across the US, Canada and Mexico comprising multivendor network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Netvanta, Ubiquiti, FortiGate).• Design network topology and implementation plan based on customer’s site and services contracted for. • Conducting live service migrations and circuit consolidations, with prior comprehensive planning and preparation to make sure minimal to no downtime.ResponsibilitiesPhysically maintain networking equipment across the ViaPath enterprise (Cisco, Ubiquity).Support network availability, perform installation, upgrade, and problem resolution.Implement network services to multiple locations throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.Install, support and administer network gear via the command line interface.Responsible for the organization, security and protection of the network devices and equipment.Conduct network and security assessments to troubleshoot and optimize network performance and design.Analyze network characteristics (e.g., traffic, connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes, and throughput), troubleshoot problems and recommend procurement, removals, and modifications to network components and generate usage reports.Responsible for development and maintenance of all network and systems documentation including network diagrams and system administration processes and procedures.Responsible for development and testing of disaster recovery processes and procedures.Responsible for system tuning, administration, and monitoring of managed networks.Work with ViaPath staff to solve production, corporate and customer network issues.Work with other Technology Team members, Development Teams, Product Networking and Tech Support for any application development, network plans, implementations and changes on the network infrastructure.Participates in the on-call production support rotation and travel to customer sites.Participates in projects as needed.
