• Leading the taxation department consisting of 1 Assistant Manager and 3 executives.• Direct reporting to Group CFO and Director, tax department representation in board meetings.• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all relevant direct and indirect tax returns for income tax and sales tax both.• Ensure timely and accurate statutory filing of monthly / biannually / annually income tax statements under section 165 / 149 of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, Liaise with tax authorities and consultants on tax-related matters, supporting proper reporting for applicable taxes under US GAAP and local tax legislation• Preparation of tax records, reports and other related materials in compliance with tax laws and regulations• Implementation of local tax strategy and partners with internal stakeholders to optimize taxes in the context of business objectives• Supports finance / accounts / planning and other business areas with information and advice regarding all tax matters, redirecting or escalating requests• Checking for latest updates in tax legislation and provide practical tax advice, executing tax policies with proper documentation• Conducting internal tax audits periodically, assisting external stakeholders regarding company tax audits, provision of data / documentation• Payroll Management including compliance with laws• Providing expert opinions regarding tax implications for new business strategies / projects / campaigns• Any other ad-hoc projects as per business needs

• Calculation of finance cost for single / multiple project portfolio• Inventory management / inventory controls and maintaining the minimum inventory levels, monthly / quarterly / half yearly / yearly stock counts• Managing company chart of accounts along relative cost centers, opening of new accounts in ERP system / allocating cost centers for new heads established• Maintaining company fixed asset register• Sale invoice preparation after applying relative terms and conditions for each customer• Cost accounting for international imports by allocating suitable cost centers• Verification of DC’s with authorized GDN• Journal vouchers and adjusting entries• Management of regular daybooks (Head office, subsidiary and other outlets)
