Hello, my name is Ahmad Zaben. I just acquired my BBA in management information systems from the University of Houston. Through my classes here at UH I learned and put to work the role of MIS. I saw that it is a very necessary role in any business and industry because it helps companies generate value through the use of technology. I enjoyed implementing technology and business in real world scenarios and became particularly interested in managing databases and data analytics, as well as going into detail about management roles and leading projects within a company. I put many of these skills to work throughout school by implementing what I’ve learned to my fathers electrician company. I did a lot of marketing work and I digitized records and data to be properly stored and organized for cost and time efficiency. I am searching for a full time position to apply what I’ve learned about MIS in a working environment and receive more technical training and professional development in the technology, energy, oil & gas, telecommunications, sales and marketing, and consulting industries.I am interested in both the technical and functional aspects of MIS, and am open to any opportunity in either. My goal is to apply the skills and knowledge I learned, and more importantly to continue to learn skills and develop professionally and personally. Outside of school, I enjoy many activities and adventures. I love camping and hiking, traveling, playing basketball with friends, and I also enjoy playing many different musical instruments.
