About Aamir Ahmad
I am a Tenure-Track Professor at the University of Stuttgart and also leading the Robot Perception Group at the Perceiving Systems Department of the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Tübingen. Our focus is on multi-robot systems, with a special emphasis on aerial robots. We have developed the first fully autonomous outdoor motion capture system using a team of vision-based aerial robots. The robots cooperate to fly autonomously in a formation that ensures high-accuracy in motion capture of the subject.
