I have a strong appetite for learning and I bring a balanced strategic and tactical approach toward hardware systems development. I am a Hardware Systems Engineering leader with over 15 years of full product life cycle (System Architecture, Hardware Design, Manufacturing, Integration, Test, and Deployment) experience in space-based Electro-optical and Infrared (EOIR) sensors, autonomous systems, high voltage batteries, battery management system, and airborne hardware systems. Currently, I am leading space-based Infrared system architecture and modeling using MBSE where I facilitate FPGA, Embedded Software, Electrical Mechanisms, and Analog/Mixed Signal and High-Speed Digital Circuit design and integration. Furthermore, I have led failure review boards for VIIRs' power supplies, Analog/Mixed Signal Circuits, and onboard computers. Previously, I have led electrical design for autonomous systems (Cameras, LIDARS, Compute), high-voltage batteries, and battery management systems. Additionally, I have led ground-up development for commercial airborne hardware systems (Control Panels, Lighting, NiMH batteries, Flight Deck Door Access System, Water and Waste System, and Oxygen systems).I enjoy leading new product development, and I have been part of four new development programs over my career. I bring the following capabilities to my teams:• System architecture using SysML• Specification/Requirements writing and Requirement management• Hardware, software, and firmware interface definition• Schematic capture• Manufacturing of hardware, PCBA and harnesses• Digital and Analog/Mixed Signal PCBA debugging• Signal integrity analysis and testing for high-speed signals• Electrical load analysis and voltage drop simulations at the system level• Size Weight and Power (SWaP) Management• Understanding of physical layer of communication protocols: SerDes, SRIO, SpaceWire, 1553, CAN, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-TX, ARINC429, RS485, RS-422, I2C, SPI.• System diagrams and wiring diagrams capture• High and Low Voltage harness design• Avionics packaging and Electrical distribution (interconnect) system Installation design• Electrical grounding and bonding design• Test plan and test procedures development• Test equipment (STE) design development facilitation• System integration testing• On Aircraft/On vehicle level functional and EMC testing• Data Analysis using Python or MATLAB• Environmental and EMI testing per DO-160, MIL-STD-461/462• System Development per SAE-ARP 4754A• FMEA/FTA Analysis support• Experience with FAR 25 certification

Principal System EngineerRaytheon Mar 2020 - May 2023Arlington, Va, UsAs MBSE Lead, I have led system architecture and SysML modeling for Space-based EOIR System (Remote Sensing). I led collaboration with the algorithms, firmware, hardware, and software teams for the EOIR payload development. Additionally, I defined payload to space vehicle (Bus and Communication Payload) and intra-payload interfaces. My work products were directly responsible for 55% of revenues for the program in its first phase and resulted in winning a multi-million dollar follow-on contract for our team.Prior to joining the Missile Track Custody team as VIIRS J4 Electronics Module System Engineer, I performed testing on various analog/digital boards, and I led multiple failure analyses of digital and analog/mixed signals circuit boards and presented root causes to NASA. Additionally, I led EMI/EMC testing of the VIIRS J4 electronics and sold-off requirements on time.Experienced in imaging sensor integration in scanning and starer type of EOIR systems. -
Engineering Manager, Electrical Engineer IvSafran Apr 2019 - Mar 2020Paris, FrAs an Engineering Manager for Galley Inserts (Air Chillers) for Boeing 777, I led a team of engineers and technicians to successfully complete the environmental qualification test campaign for the whisper-quiet chiller. In parallel, I led the development of engineering specifications for the power supply and facilitated the hardware bring-up of the controller board. I staffed the team to appropriately support the development of a new chiller for narrow-body Airbus A320/A321 aircraft.Prior to the Engineering Manager assignment, I supported Airbus A220 troubleshooting, the A350 Airbus Flight Deck Door Remote Access System proposal, the Mitsubishi M90 certification, and the Mitsubishi M100 joint development. Additionally, I drove CAD tool automation study for electrical distribution system design to improve quality and reduce NRE. Furthermore, I supported signal integrity testing implementation for the cabin management system of Airbus A220. Also, I automated copper wire sizing based on maximum delta temperature, altitude derating, and percentage bundle loading. -
Hardware EngineerApple Jul 2017 - Apr 2019Cupertino, California, UsAs a Hardware Engineer for autonomous systems, I designed and developed the Low Voltage Electrical system to integrate LIDARs, Cameras, Radars, and Compute.
