I am a member of Activestills, a documentary photography collective that has been operating in Palestine since 2005. The collective uses 'decolonization' as a conceptual framework for its photographic practice and coverage of political and social struggles in Palestine. The photographs and videos created by collective members are frequently featured and commissioned by various local and international media outlets. As a member of the collective, my responsibilities include field photography, developing long-term photo projects, and photo editing.

I have been working as a freelance videographer and video editor since 2018, mainly producing, filming, and editing short documentary projects. I have provided services to various media outlets and non-profit organizations that specialize in creating advocacy videos related to human rights issues.

Nablus

PalMedia used to be the largest Palestinian video agency and broadcasting service provider in the West Bank. It served many renowned satellite TV channels, such as BBC, France 24, RT, Al Jazeera, Al Mayadin, Al Quds, Al Manar, among others. For two years, I worked as a full-time cameraman and video editor, and collaborated on the ground with many well-known TV correspondents. As part of my responsibilities, I gathered news in the field, produced and filmed television news reports and features, operated live-studio cameras, operated live-cameras (SNG/OBvan), and edited television reports.

Dooz is an online news platform that covers local governance issues in the Nablus district of the West Bank. I worked at Dooz during the last year of my university BA program as a part-time field reporter, and was later promoted to editor-in-chief, a position I held for a year and a half. As the editor-in-chief, my responsibilities included managing daily operations, leading the editorial board, ensuring accuracy and professionalism, generating ideas, and assigning tasks.
