Project: 6th October Combined Cycle Power Plant; 1500 MWResponsibilities: Responsible for reviewing, analysing, modification (as required) and closing-out the customer warranty claims and punch items related to the whole power plant equipment and materials, including the following: -o Gas turbines (Manufactured by Ansaldo Energia, Model AE94.2, 150 MW) and its auxiliaries.o Steam turbine(Manufactured by Ansaldo Energia, 343 MW) and its auxiliaries.o BOP (Pumps, valves (manual valves, motorized valves, pressure seal valves, control valves, fire safe valves, vacuum design valves, metal seated ball valves), compressed air package, Piping Systems, Condensers, Heat Exchangers, Natural Gas, Fuel Oil, Hydraulic skids …etc).o Air cooled condenser o Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs)(Manufactured by AC Boiler, 343 MW)o Water treatment and demineralized water production systems. Technical and commercial evaluation of the proposals received from material suppliers, whether for spare parts or main equipment, being used during warranty period. Reviewing and supervise the mechanical maintenance activities, including preventative and corrective maintenance. Planning for shutdowns and organize for the related maintenance/modification activities. Ensure plant availability and equipment reliability following HSE guidelines and governing quality standards.

Project: Cairo West Supercritical Power Station 1X650 MW (BOP Contract Package; CP-118 (Mechanical Equipment and Pipe Installation Package)).Responsibilities:Lead the technical team work to execute BOP (Balance Of Plant) package of Cairo West Supercritical Power Station project 1X650 MW (1E Unit) through the following activities: - Carry out initial technical review of client / consultant requirements and specifications to define engineering design inputs. Prepare RFQs (Request For Quotations) for each equipment/system and invite vendors to quote. These equipment and systems; including Fuel Oil Pumps, Waste Vertical Sump Pumps and Submersible pumps, Fire Pumps package (Peerless / Grundfos), Tanks and Vessels, Valves package, strainers and filters, mazout skids, cranes and hoists, and hydrogen generation system. Study vendors’ proposals, review, and confirm its compliance with the contract requirements. Manage the pre-award meeting with the successful vendor. Prepare the relevant Purchase Order for the materials being procured. Succeeded to put the project on the proper track and to issue the relevant purchase orders on time. Carrying out technical clarifications with both vendors and customer / consultant and resolving the clarifications on time. Review and revise the project technical documents and design drawings and prepare the technical submittals for the client / consultant review and approval. Manage meetings with the project consultant in order to release any technical and/or contractual issues. Provide technical support required for materials receiving and installation. Reviewing equipment IOM manuals including preventative and corrective maintenance schedule and procedures. Provide technical support required to close the punch items. Responsible for spare parts package. Responsible for the local material purchasing.

Responsibilities:o Perform Nine Combustion Inspections for GE gas turbine (9FA).o Perform Three Hot Gas Path Inspections for GE gas turbine (9FA).o Perform Preventive, Corrective, and scheduled maintenance for GE gas turbines and its auxiliaries.o Reviewing and supervise the mechanical maintenance activities, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, for BOP equipment and materials; like pumps, valves, compressors...etc.o Maintain and keep in proper conditions plant pump house supplied by EBARA pumps corporation including Circulating water pumps, service water pumps, raw water pumps, and filtration skid.o Plan for maintenance of plant equipment according to manufacturers’ IOM manuals.o Sharing in shutdown activities for Steam Turbines (manufactured by Ansaldo Energia).o Reviewing work permit issued by plant Operation Team, troubleshooting, analysing, and closing-out the problems/observations.

Project: Giza North Combined Cycle Power Plant Project; 2250 MW, Egypt.Responsibilities:Represent CEPC who is the client of Giza North Power Plant Project (2×750 MW Combined Cycle) and its extension (1×750 MW Combined Cycle during EPC stages, in addition to the start-up, commissioning, and put the plant in service, through the following phases:• Engineering:o Review contracts technical specifications and design drawings along with the project consultant (PGESCo).• Procurement:o Participate, in conjunction with the project consultant, in tender evaluations, pre-award meetings, kick off meetings, Close-out meetings, and clarify issues pertaining to tendering process with Contractors.o Review and confirm spare parts selection with the contractors.• Construction: o Follow-up/supervise, with the project consultant, implementation of the mechanical works and construction activities in the field including the following: - Balance Of Plant(Pumps, piping systems, different types of valves, compressed air package, Heat Exchangers, Fire Pumps package, Self-Cleaning strainers, Fuel oil treatment system, hydrogen generation plant, Intake pump house supplied by Ebara Corporation). Gas Turbines(Manufactured by General Electric (GE), Model 9FA, 250 MW) and its auxiliaries Steam Turbines(Manufactured by Ansaldo Energia, 250 MW) and its auxiliaries• Commissioning:o Follow-up/supervise all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities related to the above-mentioned installed equipment and materials and put the plant systems on service.

Project: Borg El-Arab Power Plant project, 6 Units × 10 MW Gas Engine – Phase II, Borg El-Arab, Alexandria, Egypt.Responsibilities:Wholly responsible for mechanical scope of the contract, including the following equipment and materials: -i. Compressed air package (CompAir supplier)ii. Fire Pumps package (Pentair / Aurora)iii. Fire Protection system including HDPE UL/FM approved piping.iv. Valves packagev. Aboveground and underground piping vi. Hydro-pneumatic potable water system.vii. Waste water treatment system.viii. Oily water treatment system.ix. Miscellaneous pumps.The above-mentioned equipment and materials were handled through the following activities:  Review engineering documents and design drawings related to the following packages Prepare RFQs (Request For Quotations) for each equipment/system and invite vendors to quote. Technical and commercial evaluation of vendors’ proposals. Manage pre-award and kick of meetings with the suppliers. Carry out technical clarifications with both vendors and customers. Prepare the relevant Purchase Order for the materials being procured. Review and revise the project technical document. Prepare the technical submittals for the client’s review and approval. Provide technical support required for materials receiving, installation, and commissioning.  Prepare and perform workshop test for main fire pumps including (Head, Flow, NPSH) and issuing test report for client approval.

Project: Abu Qir Thermal Power Plant, Units 6&7, 2×650 MW Gas/Oil Fired Units (BOP Package).Responsibilities: Review engineering documents and design drawings related to the following packages Prepare RFQs (Request For Quotations) for each equipment/system and invite vendors to quote. Technical and commercial evaluation of vendors’ proposals. Sharing in pre-award and kick of meetings with the suppliers. Carry out technical clarifications with both vendors and customers. Prepare the relevant Purchase Order for the materials being procured. Review and revise the project technical document. Prepare the technical submittals for the client’s review and approval. Provide technical support required for materials receiving, installation, and commissioning.  Prepare spare parts list and selections for customer review and approval.

Project: Nubaria Power Station-III – 1×750 MW Combined Cycle Module (HRSG Package).Responsibilities: Follow up the erection of piping systems according to isometrics and P&ID’s (Piping & Instrument Diagrams). Prepare “As- Built” drawings and Punch List. Prepare the Test Package for each system. Hand-Over the mechanical systems to the client.
