• Prepare and compound TPN solutions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.• Ensure accurate measurement and mixing of TPN ingredients, including electrolytes, vitamins, and trace elements.• Adhere to safety and infection control standards in the preparation and administration of TPN.• Provide input and recommendations on TPN-related policies and procedures.

• Dispensing control and semi-control medicines as per prescriptions issued by licensed medical practitioners.• Verify prescriptions and doing appropriate reviews to ensure that are no errors and that they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient.• Explain treatment with the patient, Provide frequency, dose, effects and side effects of dispensed medication.• Follow up the policy of storage, arrangement and dispensing of high alert medication, look alike – sound alike medication, Concentrated Electrolytes and restricted antibiotics.
