Responsible for Well Control preparations, including verification of BOP testing and documented barrier managementSupervises drilling activities to ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and well plans are followed including pit management, directional planning, etc.Does not directly supervise rig contractors crews, but prepares daily work plan and makes available at pre-tours. Perform SLB Artificial Lift System equipment (Electrical Submergible Pump) preparation, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and recoveryPerform general electrical workMaintains proper tooling in a well-organized, neat, tidy and operating conditionOrders parts, tools and materials necessary to maintain an inventory adequate to meet customer needs and manage same as not to incur unnecessary costExtensive field work installing, commissioning and troubleshooting ESP, VSD, HPS, espWatcher and Gas Lift installations.Performing follow-up checks on installations to ensure unit is operating within acceptable limits, is properly protected by fine tunning motor controller alarm parameters and is fully optimized (production, voltage) for best performanceSupervise the installation/pulling sucker pumps systems and plunger lift system and associated equipmentSupervise co-rod installation and retrieval operations.Perform pre-job requirement including but limited to inspection qualifications vendor, evaluation of equipment specification, Optimize artificial design.Evaluate artificial Lift installations to maximize gas well efficiencies by utilizing specialized equipment and closely monitoring productionGather field data, evaluate and make recommendations to perform remedial work or intervention necessary to optimize production. Owns safety standard.Supervise and ensure the safety of drilling crew as well as efficient operations during tour of duty.Follow the client's daily drilling plans.Ensure crews achieve Company and client competency standards.Train and supervise crew members on standard operating procedures to include, but not limited to, proper care and maintenance of the rig and drill string, including lubrication of equipment and housekeeping.Responsible for morale and order within crew.Straps and measures tubular, casing and tools as required.Performs pipe tripping operations (consists of using slips, safety clamps tongs and elevators).Performs break out and make up connections during drilling, back reaming or tripping operations (consists of using slips, safety clamps tongs and elevators).Performs safe operation of the rig floor hydraulic winches and man rider winch.Inspect snub lines, jerk lines, shackles and cable clamps to ensure they are always in good working condition.Inspect and check dies in slips, tongs (and elevators if applicable) to ensure they are always in goodworking condition.Inspect and check all rig floor safety belts to ensure they are always in good working condition.Assemble well-control or pressure-control equipment on the wellheadPerforms mud pump repairs and general pump maintenance, including disassemble, reassemble or oil change and filters.Performs housekeeping and cleanliness around the rig floor working area.Performs alignment of stand pipe manifolds and bleed off lines.Performs scrubbing and cleaning of rig equipment and drilling packages as required with rig wash.Performs chipping and painting on drilling packages and equipment as required.Comply with platform emergency response plan or station bills during emergencies and/or drills.Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as may be directed.
