1. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.2. Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.3. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.4. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.5. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.6. Receiving all kinds of materials and making sure that received materials are in accordance with the purchase order and as requested by the end user.7. Controlling the movement of materials in the warehouses, lay down yards and other storage facilities.8. Supervising received materials and ensuring correct materials handling equipment are used properly when uploading and offloading.9. Handling all supporting documentations for items received i.e. customs declaration, delivery notes, material received records and shipping documents.10. Coordinating with Quality inspectors for technical evaluation and assessment for items received that are subject to QC inspection.11. Ensure that the materials are being stored as per the Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).12. Follow up with expeditors on resolving discrepancies reports if some certain issues come up and require any changes or amendments.13. Checking inventory and the condition of stored items at regular interval in order to maintain good housekeeping in all storage areas.14. Maintaining a comprehensive filing system for records as necessary for material trace ability and control.
