Cost Control Engineer in FAST Consortium in Riyadh Metro Package 3 Project (FCC Construccion, Samsung, Alstom, Strukton, Freyssinet Saudi Arabia). The Project comprises the design, construction and commissioning of 3 metro lines; which are line 4, 5 and 6. The scope of each line comprises 24 stations, 42 KM viaducts, 22 KM tunnels and two depots.Responsibilities: •Studying the Contract conditions, Specifications and drawings.•Preparing the first budget of the project and Cost baseline includes the preparation of project’s WBSs and CBSs•Participating in the preparation of the revised PEB and CTC of the project every 4 month for the approval of management and updating project cash flow•Participating in the documents preparation of the Subcontract packages•Evaluating the Subcontract tenders in terms of the commercial and financial aspects•Preparing and reviewing the interim payments, variations, and claims of subcontractors and suppliers•Negotiating and agreeing the claims and final accounts of the Subcontractors•Monitoring and controlling the actual cost and the committed cost of sub-contractors, supplied materials and labor against the take-off quantities and approved budgeted unit rates in the budget.•Providing monthly cost reports with periodically calculation of estimate to complete, earned value reports and Cost/Value reconciliation•Participating in the assessment of monthly payment statement to client.•Evaluating variations in liaison with the Contracts team, Design, and Construction Team.•Evaluating cost claims to the clients with Contracts team.•Reporting to the cost control manager the cost overrun reasons from the cost baseline.•Tracking all approved variations and updating the cost baseline and the Project budget.•Leading cost control engineers in implementation of the internal budget and earned value using Primavera P6 and Primavera Unifier
