• Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT systems that support core organizational functions.• Monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems• Maintains a safe and healthy working environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.• Responsible for IT vendor, contract, and outsourcing management• Responsible for IT inventory maintenance and software license management• Monitors security compliance in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.• Identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to minimize the downtime to an acceptable level and in accordance with the established SLAs.• Mentor and provide guidance to the Systems Engineer staff.• Identify service improvements through process changes, new systems, or equipment to reduce incidents.• Undertake infrastructure changes in accordance with the Change Management processes, including timely user communication.• Communicate capacity planning and management using system monitoring tools and provide recommendations.• Provide guidance to Senior and junior engineers, helping them attain Service Levels and escalate calls in good time.• Contribute to team review meetings and reporting.• Produce and keep up-to-date documentation and diagrams showing system configuration.• Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.• Perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
