• High-level management of 2 autonomous aircraft development teams, Project Hex and Project Volaticus. In charge of funding, member recruitment, and overall project management at a committee level.• Established a third, research-based team, SunFalco, which aims to explore winged-S/VTOL aircraft.• Improved team productivity, management and planning which resulted in an increase in members by over 150%.

Responsible for developing a ROS based system to handle sub-system communication and operation of an autonomous rover remotely, to take part in the European Rover Challenge (ERC).

Lead a team of multidisciplinary engineers in designing and developing the control system used in an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) to compete in the IMechE UAS Challenge. Designed an antenna tracking system with a custom PCB (printed circuit board) to improve range and connectivity with the aircraft.

Designed and developed a computer vision solution (python, OpenCV and Tesseract OCR) required to detect specific targets from a drone. Utilised Software in the Loop (SIL) simulations to test then fly an unmanned aerial system.
