Roughlock Auto is a young Car Dealership in Spearfish, South Dakota, USA.I mainly worked, from January 9th to April 28th, 2023, on Marketing methods and processes with the Business's Marketing Manager. Focusing on Digital Marketing, I made an Ad Poster to be displayed in a local theater, as the company was a sponsor in some shows. I later made a banner design.I also made Intros and Outros for Youtube and Facebook Videos. I did Video Recorded Interviews with the staff and managers to get customers to know them more. Pixii Motors is the first African Manufacturer of Premium & Smart E-Scooters.It was a great experience through which I improved my skills and enriched my network. I got closer to achieving my goals and learning more about the Automotive field.At first, I was tasked with the CAN Bus Communication Protocol Research and Implementation Strategies and Rules.Another task I had with the other interns was making the BOM (Bill Of Materials) and the List of Materials.Afterward, I worked on designing a Supervision System Algorithm for the E-scooter. I understood the included features, the functioning of the necessary components, and the communication protocols. Based on this, I deduced a blocs scheme linking all the elements together (each bloc included the Function, Input, Output, and Components), then I concluded the needed algorithmic functions.Later I was assigned as the Project Manager for the Supervision System and Communication Protocols Implementation (until I finished my internship). I divided tasks among the other interns based on our system, needs, and skills and assisted them when needed, especially with developing required codes on STM32, PIC16, and Arduino (for tests).The workplace and workflow were friendly, fluent, and smooth, and I enjoyed being there.

Being the Materials and Logistics Manager at AeRobotiX was a great experience as a college student, and it opened some future paths for me.I met and talked to many people with the same interest from the club or other organizations inside and outside the university.I was in charge of the electronic and mechanical tools (Materials)'s flow management, as members and non-members needed them for different uses. With the assistance of other board members, I tried to improve our logistics strategies and implementations and apply additional rules.

I was the team leader of this project. I worked on Team Management, Project Development, Business Plans, Marketing, Action Plans, Goal setting, List and Bill of Materials, and Technical Development (Mechanical and Electronic designs, coding,...).The project objective: is to reduce the damages from electrical hazards, accidents, and sudden breakdowns in Industry 4.0.Its idea is to construct and produce a Smart Glove Equipped with sensors and a screen. That device would implement AI and IoT. The electronic components were designed to be put in a box that can be easily attached to different kinds of industrial gloves.We worked on it and even got (2) incubators to support us. However, we stopped temporarily due to different circumstances.

I lived a good experience, discovering the 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 and learning how things work in it.With the guidance of my mentor and the help of other professional engineers in the industry, I was able to achieve several tasks in a short time period.The Valeo CT-COM2020 Line is one of the 4 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 of the COM2020 Project, it is dedicated to assembling the different components of a rotatory switch for the“NEW C5 Citroen 2020”, “C4 Citroen 2020”, “NEW DS4 Citroen 2020”, “308 Peugeot 2020” cars.𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬: - Discovering the different workstations & production stages in the CT-COM2020 line. - Calculating the precise "Work Timing" for each Workstation along with their Substations. - Qualifying a new Resistance-Track by track-Testing Machine, that is complementary to an older Testing System in the CT-COM2020 line. For this, I realized many 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 using many final products with different conditions (with & without real defaults, with manually made defaults...) - Writing the validation report for this new system. - Updating the Robotized & Semi-Robotized workstations' sheets.

This project counts as an internship. That is the purpose of this Axis since it offers an opportunity for students to work on projects they propose or ones given by companies.I was the Team leader of the Smafy Glovy Project adopted by Project Axis IEEE INSAT after winning the Industry 4.0 Competition at the IEEE IAS Annual Meeting 2020-2021.This project intends to reduce the damages of electrical hazards and accidents in Industry 4.0.(The project is further explained above in my Experiences Section)
