•responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.•supervises the staff (Accounting assistant, Controller) and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.•As part of the Management Team, contact with the firm’s General Manager and

- Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthlyclose schedule- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures- Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately onMonthly basis- Prepare monthly account reconciliations- Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances- Assist with financial and tax audits- Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements- Assist with quarterly producer commission reports; analyzing and correcting discrepancies- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls- Other projects as assigned
