1. responsible for supervising the processing, customs documentation and clearance of company materials for all shipment consigned to QR Subsidiaries.2. work closely with Cargo Services Customs Clearance Officer in planning strategies to be able to clear and release the company materials on time.3. Assist in prioritizing shipment which requires immediate clearance with customs and prepare report on shipment released and pending shipment to be cleared on a daily basis.4. Liaise with Customs and other governing authorities for any issues that will arise during clearance of cargo.5. Closely monitor the documents consigned to subsidiaries, customs processing and clearance and ensure clearance of company materials on timely manner without delay.6. Report discrepancy to concerned subsidiary for any damages during inspection and physical delivery.7. Train and develop other employees, for proper succession planning and risk management.8. Process customs clearance documentation for our customer base, deal with the customs authority on a daily basis, deliver excellent customer service to all customers, Work on assigned key account customers to ensure their needs are met.9. Continue to develop knowledge on customs qualifications, ensuring new regulations are understood and implemented where required.10. Ensure the clearance process meets all legal and statutory requirements11. Evaluate Customs Clearance procedures and methods to achieve optimum service and cost performance; participate in Gateway quality policy12. Pay and record customs duties / taxes in an accurate and timely manner.13. Control bonded areas and is responsible for managing clearance status of shipments held in bond for any reason.14. Any other duty as assigned from time to time
