Family Intervention Project Keyworker - FIPManaging a small caseload of high-need complex familiesFeb 2005 – July 06who are involved in, or at risk of being involved in, crime or antisocial behaviour. This will include undertaking structured and persistent one-to-one family support work as keyworker necessary to meet family/ project needs in their own home.• Carry out and oversee comprehensive needs/risk family assessments and assertive interventions. To plan, deliver and review, individual and family support plans to assist families maintain tenancies, reduce anti social/offending behaviour and improve outcomes for children• A Keyworker I lead or co-ordinate service provision to families. Services being provided may include therapeutic interventions, such as working around self esteem and confidence building, signposting to health and alcohol / drugs support, advice for parents around managing behaviour and parenting techniques, helping with practical support such as shopping home management, debt and budgeting advice.• Carrying out risk assessments and ensure child protection policies and procedures are implemented at all times• • ! • Chair multi-agency meetings • Attend and participate in Case conference's and Coregroup's•
