• Inspect day to day activities of the project contractors ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents, Drawings and Specifications. • Effectively liaise with the Client representative for the directions on the architectural element of the work. • Responsible in the technical review of the contractor’s architectural submittals for conformance with contract documents and international and local standard.• Check various engineering disciplines to ensure the contractor’s submittals are properly coordinated with the other trades.• Check and approve shop drawings and ensure full coordination with other trades. • Prepare technical correspondences and monthly accomplishment reports. • In-charge of construction quality control for finishing and interior design works and well acquainted to monitor contractor’s compliance with the quality assurance program. • Conduct detailed review of architectural work shop drawings and materials to ensure design parameters are considered.• Ensure that the Contractors are properly implementing the safety, health and security requirements of the project and accomplishing all activities safely and timely.• Check materials delivery in respect of compliance to specifications, quality, proper installations, storage, etc.• Attend regular site coordination meetings as required.

• Report and liaise with Project Manager • Primarily adhere to company policies and procedures. • Coordinates with, instruct and supervise inspectors. Manage the workloads of a team of more junior engineer and inspectors and lead the team imparting clear objectives and motivation to achieved targeted results.• Act as a focal point for matters relating to structural and civil engineering aspects of the project.• Assist the project manager in liaison with client and the contractor.• Responsible for the management of site team and client management.• Maintain knowledge in contract administration / FIDIC as necessary and ensure that the contractors are complying with contract clauses.• Maintain a good understanding of the project priorities and programs.• To coordinate with other disciplines as required on day-to-day basis or as set out by the project requirements.• Lead, direct and monitor the performance of all site engineers and support staff under my charge.• Monitor the work of site staff members for conformance with all provisions of the Contract Administration Procedures/Manual.• Assist the PM with prompt replies to correspondences, submittals and RFI's to all contractors.• Monitor the progress of the submittal review in coordination with the Core team. Prepare responses to the contractors if required.• Oversee, supervise and remain vigilant regarding all aspects of the construction activities. • Respond with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with Contract Documents.• Advice and assist the contractor on construction procedures. • Coordinate the construction works with the local authorities and contractor.• Observe safety procedures are followed by the contractor.
