My contributions encompassed a range of critical tasks, including: • Data Collection and Analysis: I led the comprehensive collection and analysis of data concerning the geographic distribution of the plastic waste classes in Khartoum. This endeavour served as the cornerstone for our strategic decision-making and offered profound insights into securing the supply of the raw materials. • Market research: I conducted primary and secondary market research, designed surveys, and analysed data using statistical tools and software (Excel).• Prototyping Experiment Supervision: I assumed a supervisory role, diligently overseeing the prototyping experiments. This role entails ensuring the accuracy and reliability of experimental procedures, process parameters and conditions, and proving the optimum production procedures considering scientific rigor. • Patent awarded: As a result of the successful prototyping experiments, the Sudanese Intellectual Property general registrar awarded us a patent under number (SD 44010) to secure our production rights. • Business Model Canvas: I assumed the role of architecting the Business Model Canvas (BMC), which delineated the fundamental framework of our business strategy. • Engineering Design and Process Development: My responsibility extended to the meticulous engineering design of the project, encompassing the creation of a preliminary model for the recycling process. This intricate task involved calculating the maximum possible production capacity, specifying required equipment features, determining process parameters, and meticulously estimating mass and energy balances. It was a pivotal phase in the project's technical development. • Project Phasing and timeframe: I was instrumental in establishing a well-structured timeline for the successive phases of the project, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to project milestones. • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality, and HSE Compliance.
