Working as the regulatory affairs specialist for Egypt and Sudan, and responsible for executing the company's regulatory across all categories and Business groups (Personal care, Beauty & Wellbeing, Home care, and Nutrition).• Advocating on behalf Unilever's products and positions with relevant authorities, aiming for a more flexible regulatory landscape. • Assisting innovation teams to land their projects, offering a balanced assessment and feedback regarding the national regulatory situation in Mashreq.• Supporting country specific claims development and substantiations across categories.• Work closely with regulatory compliance team to ensure End to End product's cycle is achieved while maintaining complete compliance to competent authorities, standards, and regulations.• Communicating all the regulatory updates to the internal stakeholders and providing full support for registration of every portfolio.• Assisting in regional team projects across NALI and Arabia.• Representing Unilever in all workshops, trainings and drafts by the Authorities, and meetings by trade associations.

Serving as the primary regulatory representative for Avon:• Advocating on behalf Avon's products and positions, giving input to innovation projects regarding the national regulatory situation in Egypt, supporting country specific claims development and substantiations.• Ensuring End to End product's cycle is achieved while maintaining complete compliance to EDA and competent authorities. • Responsible for executing the company's regulatory plan and permanent compliance to local regulations, policies and procedures.• Preparation, reviewing and submission of new products registration, reregistration, renewals and post approval variations/ additions.• Communicating all the registration updates to the internal stakeholders and ensuring the complete registration of every portfolio.• Managing and handling MOH's inspections, releasing products and ensuring local quality activities are achieved.• Preparation and submission of sampled products with all the required documents to NODCAR.• Assisting in many regional team projects (Ex. Algeria, Qatar and Morocco), providing the team with all the necessary documents (Art Works, Formulas and products information).• Representing and advocating Avon's positions and products in Egypt, in all workshops, trainings and drafts by the EDA.• Continuous communication, building confidence and reliability with MOH’s

I worked on a product called VIROL-OXY with the team at Global Pharm at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. During this period I learned a lot from a variety of top level expertise, we promoted the product's name, raised the sales and closed many deals.

I started at a small branch, and in a very short amount of time, I moved to one of the biggest pharmacies in the chain. I was responsible for dispensing medications, dealing with insurance companies and most importantly, giving daily patients advices, which I loved the most about this job!
