- Prepare tenders and request quotes for the issued PRs (Raw materials - Spare parts). - Prepare and issue RFQ’s & Purchase orders using SAP System.- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items & resolve shortcomings.- Prepare reports and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records.- Negotiate with suppliers on price, lead –time, cost ,quality and delivery time to get the best offer according to the required specification with lowest price.- Search and identify prospective suppliers.- Ensure that the purchased products and materials meet specific technical specifications and quality.- Compare prices amongst various vendors in order to make strong purchasing decisions.
