Hello there! I'm Ahmed Mainatt, and my journey through the skies has been both academic and practical, rooted in a deep-seated passion for aviation. I started with a solid foundation: a BSc in Aviation Technology and Management from the University of Leeds and an MSc in Air Transport Management from the University of Surrey, where I delved into the intricacies of the aviation industry. Those formative years gave me the knowledge and perspective I needed to excel.Following my academic pursuits, I gained invaluable hands-on experience as a Research Assistant at Buckinghamshire New University. This role sharpened my analytical skills and gave me firsthand insight into the industry's challenges and opportunities. There, I developed a keen eye for detail and a belief in the power of data to drive meaningful change.Today, I work as an Aviation Analyst at IBA Group in the remarketing team, a role that genuinely feels like the culmination of my journey so far. At IBA, our team delivers marketing campaigns for aircraft that are difficult to sell due to liquidations, sanctions, etc. I thrive in this collaborative environment, leveraging my communication and organizational skills to enhance our team's performance and deliver exceptional results.
