Packaging Development scope is covering all the 5 divisions of the company (UHT Milk Products, Fermented Milk Products, Juice Drinks, Fruit Concentrates and Cheese) manufactured by a cluster of 6 Manufacturing Plants in Egypt.Responsible for the management of the Packaging R&D Team to yield a Cost effective, performance based and fit for purpose packaging solutions and technical expertise that supports the company growth ambitions with a daily focus on innovations and cost savings, The main customer functions are Marketing and Procurement departments, supporting the sourcing strategies development and project management of Pack & Price Innovations, Key Programs in scope of my role are:1- Management and KPIs reporting of the Artwork Development and Approval program.2- Supplier Qualification Program, from the identification step to the purchase orders.3- Specification Development Program for all the Packaging Types across the company, Paper, Flexibles, Board material, Polystyrene, PET, POF, PE, etc...4- Trade Audits and Market packaging performance measurement. 5- Management of the Printing Budget for the company.6- Technical Support to Purchasing and Procurement. 7- Packaging Validation and Line Trials, new filling and packaging lines FATs.8- R&D Value Leadership program

The role is designed to expand the scope of my role to include all the packaging categories used in the 3 manufacturing sites in META Region (Egypt, KSA, UAE) including Paper, Flexibles and Rigids packaging materials, the role is a part of the Commercial (Purchasing) function that involves a high level of travel, ability to work around senior management and driving for results. The role is focused on the operation and management of Packaging Supplier Quality Assurance program across the main Mars Chocolate Manufacturing Sites in Middle East and North Africa region.Main responsibilities include:1- Regional representative for the implementation of Mars Packaging Quality Management standard, leading the different implementation work streams across the 3 chocolate sites in the region, Egypt, KSA and UAE.2- Suppliers Quality Management including supplier's quality and food safety audits, non conformance management and new products development with the suppliers.3- Supplier selection and qualification process for Packaging supply base for the region.4- Support Strategic Sourcing and Buying Operations teams on the "What" and "From where" buying decisions.5- Supporting the sites in the internal and external quality audits including FSSC 22000, QMP and Internal audit programs.6- Leading and supporting the inbound materials Non-conformance management program across the region.7- Analysis and reporting of the key quality Assurance elements KPIs for the Manufacturing sites in the region including the creation of delivery performance KPIs.8- leading the continuous improvement project across the packaging category including COGS Projects, pack & price innovations and new products development in terms of quality and technical readiness.

My role is focused on the management of the Paper Packaging Material Category from the SQA perspective in the META Region, as a part of the Commercial (Purchasing) Function, 1- Regional Packaging Quality Management Implementation project Leader. 2- Ensuring a consistent and sustainable supply of Packaging to all Mars site in META region. 3- Supplier relationship management of 18 Paper Packaging suppliers to Mars sites. 4- Management and implementation of META Metrics Standardization project for Purchasing KPIs reporting and Analysis.

Across the 7 segments of the company. 2- Implementation leader of the PQM Standard for META Region.
