Ahmed is currently serving as a Regional Leader for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). Located in the Boeing International office in Dubai, Ahmed is responsible for BCA customer and sales support across the region.Prior to joining Boeing as a Field Service Representative in Dec 2016, Ahmed worked as the Light Maintenance Base Ops Duty Manger at Etihad Airways leading a large team of Engineers and Technicians supporting the Etihad Airways fleet including the Boeing 777, 787 and the Airbus 380.Ahmed’s 20+ years career in Aviation includes numerous positions in Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, and Presidential Flight Abu Dhabi. Ahmed started his Field Service Career in Dubai supporting Emirates and various regional Boeing Commercial Operators in Iraq and Pakistan. Ahmed was also the Base Manager with flydubai supporting their growing fleet of 737NG and MAX Airplanes.Ahmed has also been part of the AOG Teams at Emirates supporting airplane recoveries across the globe, and was also part of the successful EIS of the 787 at Etihad Airways and Presidential Flight Abu Dhabi. Education: Ahmed’s education includes Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licenses (UAE GCAA and UK CAA) with multiple Type/Model Training across the Boeing and Airbus Family, including the FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate. He holds a degree in Bachelors Of Engineering (Graduated in First Class with Honors) from Emirates Aviation University, Dubai.Outside of work, Ahmed likes to spend time doing photography and sports. Ahmed and his wife share common interests in the arts, theater and traveling the world. Having spent over 40 years in the UAE he has a great appreciation for living and working in multicultural environments and the desire to learn more about various cultures.
