Hi, I’m Ahmed Tamer, a 21-year-old civil engineering student at KFS HIET with a passion for transforming innovative ideas into sustainable structures. From my early fascination with engineering, I’ve been driven by the challenge of solving complex problems and bringing bold designs to life.I recently completed the *McKinsey Forward Program*, where I honed my leadership, communication, and collaboration skills — skills that I actively apply in both academic and real-world projects. My approach to engineering extends beyond technical expertise; I focus on seeing the broader picture, ensuring every element of a project integrates seamlessly for optimal performance and long-term success.In addition to my studies, I’ve gained hands-on experience with industry-standard software like **AutoCAD**, SAP2000 , ETABS , and SAFE , which help in the design and analysis of structures. I’m also excited about *BIM technology* and *civil engineering informatics*, which are revolutionizing the industry by improving project outcomes and streamlining workflows.In **summer 2024**, I trained with *Hendawy Company for construction * on a project in * Bait Elwatan *, where I successfully learned how to receive and manage work on-site. This hands-on experience taught me how to handle real-world challenges, manage site operations, and apply structural engineering principles effectively. It gave me valuable insights into becoming a skilled site engineer, which has further fueled my drive to excel in the field.When I’m not immersed in civil engineering, I challenge my strategic thinking by playing chess. This hobby keeps my mind sharp and often inspires new ways of tackling engineering challenges.
