▪ Manages all phases of terminal operations: cargo receipts (PMS, AGO, DPK, ATK, etc) from vessels/marine tankers, storage and delivery of petroleum products nationwide. ▪ Effective terminal administration and Stock management ▪ Ensuring product quality meets DPR/NNPC specification before commencement of discharge into storage tanks.▪ Port facility management and ensuring full compliance with the ISPS code standard ▪ Ensuring that the Designated Authority (NIMASA) is updated about any Port development/activity via the PSFO and ensuring compliance on the PSFP ▪ Liaison with vessel agent to ensure all expected parties (Pilot, Barges/Fenders, Port Health, Immigration, Customs, and surveyors) are well updated on vessel berthing prospect/sailing ▪ Securing Naval Approvals for vessels berthing prospects▪ Handling through-puts agreement with third parties ▪ Engaging the services of the Navy personnel in addition to Guard forces to improve security of the facility.▪ Ensure HSE standards are met by all stakeholders. Act as approving/issuing authority of critical work permits of contractors. ▪ Approving for periodical drills to always remind staff and other stakeholders on the importance of HSE. ▪ Efficient management of operational expenses▪ Responsible for terminal financial performance and cost control.▪ Ensure completed projects are within the approved scope of work▪ Facilitates meetings with staff, Safety, industry etc. and liaise with relevant governmental agencies – DPR, NIMASA, NPA, PPPRA, NOSDRA, PEF, NUPENG etc.▪ Proper maintenance of the terminal assets/equipment▪ Extending Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) to neighboring communities and HSE programmes▪ Provides management with weekly report on all depot activities. ▪ Analytical thinking and exploring opportunities
