The following research problems have been solved:1- PEV charging infrastructure siting (2 publications)– Located multiple types of charging facilities on a transportation network to maximize utilization.– Clustered traffic flow dataset using the Gaussian mixture model.– Formulated a MILP optimization problem and solved it with Gurobi under Python.2- Capacity planning of networked PEV charging infrastructure (1 publication)– Sized charging facilities to ensure satisfactory QoS and reliable operation of the power grid.– Optimized facility sizes by formulating a NIP optimization problem and solved it using Knitro.– Minimized cost of integration with the power grid by formulating a SOCP optimization problem and solved it with Gurobi.3- Dynamic pricing of EV charging services using deep reinforcement learning- Developed a dynamic pricing mechanism to maintain QoS of multi-services charging infrastructure, using deep reinforcement learning algorithms.A non-technical presentation describes my PhD research presented at the 3 Minute Thesis Competition.
