Responsibilities:1. Assist in the financial closing process: Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, such as reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and generating financial reports. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements.3. Perform financial analysis: Analyze financial data and variances to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on the analysis, supporting decision-making processes.4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting: Collaborate with other departments to gather information and contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes. Help create accurate financial projections and monitor actual performance against budgeted targets.5. Support financial reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist with external audits: Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address any audit findings and implement recommended improvements.7. Maintain compliance: Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices. Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls. Assist in developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures.8. Contribute to process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and improve accuracy. Propose and implement process enhancements or automation initiatives.
