At BP, I oversaw indirect procurement categories, including international mobility (IM), health, safety, and environmental awareness (HSE), business support, information technology (IT), marketing and communications (C&EA), real estate, and fleet management. I also conducted due diligence to ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and standards. Furthermore, I devised and introduced annual procurement plans geared to enhance sourcing strategies and drive collaboration. In addition, I managed third-party negotiations of pricing along with terms and conditions to forge conducive business partnerships. As a result, I proliferated 40% cost reduction on office lease contracts and 10% savings of multiple categories . In furtherance of these aims, I championed the highest level of quality and service to procure 100% process compliance.

At NAS, I category managed “Construction- VIP Lounges-, Fit-out, interior design, Manpower outsource, Ground support Equipment “GSE”, MRO “Maintenance equipment, spare parsec.”, IT equipment, and various projects. I augmented procurement functions with a focus in processes, policies, strategy, resources (technology and people) to effectively benchmark, remediate, and promote best business practices. I also implemented performance metrics and protocol geared to align output with organizational vision. I provisioned value-added services through proactive strategic planning and data analysis. As a result, I was instrumental in facilitating daily activities related to the proper sourcing of projects, services, and goods through bidding, RFx’s, and comprehensive vendor management processes.I achieved 10% Savings (over $5M) in the startup fleet CAPEX for the GSE in Ivory Coast. I also delivered 95% Afghanistan’s equipment on time despite the major challenges in logistics. Additionally, I produced 20% ($1M) cost savings in IT fixed assets through proper planning of requirements.

In this role, I managed contracts and tenders in CAPEX, OPEX, direct, indirect, services, goods, and turn-key procurement projects. In doing so, I promoted a transformative work environment and an innovative approach toward procurement. I also guided procurement processes while also assuming full P&L accountability for the oversight of an operating budget valued at $500M. To support these objectives, I ensured category strategies adhered to organizational mission and vision. Over this span, I proactively sourced 1,800 generators over 3 years with a total value of $16M. I also bolstered optimized value instead of cost savings by verifying all procurement rights were carefully evaluated.
