Project Description:· Telecom Egypt Network Operation Center (TENOC) project is a multi-million project to manage the Telecom Egypt (TE) national-wide fixed line network.· The project is a complete integrated solution to provide fault, performance and inventory management for Telecom Egypt network, which is a multi-vendor environment "Lucent, Ericsson, Siemens and Alcatel".· This phase of the project is an upgrade -of the above mentioned project- that includes both of hardware and software to the latest state-of-the-art applications such as NNM7.5, TeMIP, latest Vallent metrica, ... etc.Responsibilities:· TeMIP client installation and configurations.· TeMIP client integration with ARS remedy, Cramer and Vallent Metrica software.· NNM 7.5 deployment installation and configuration.· Cisco LMS (LAN Management Solution) 2.5 installation and configuration.Achievements:· Successful implementation of TeMIP Fault Statistics module with Business Object and reporting software.· Successful implementation of TeMIP client and the integration with other products on time.· Successful implementation of NNM 7.5 and Cisco LMS 2.3 on time.

Project Description:· Please refer to my work experience from June 2005.Responsibilities:· Developing and implementing the project data network security between the NOC and the remote-sites.· Designing, developing and implementing solution to customize ITO report according to the customer requirements.· Providing 24x7 first line support to the TENOC mission critical environment, containing 8 Cisco routers, 2 Cisco Switches, more than 30 windows based workstations, and 18 HP 9000 servers.· Performing periodic backups (Daily, Weekly, and monthly) and maintenance.· Generating reports regarding the health of the systems and network.Achievements:· Successfully designing and implementing the data network security configurations between the NOC and the remote-sites.· Successful design and implementing a solution to send an alarm from the remote-site to the NOC in case of any power failure.

Application, System Integration Developer & Consultant for Telecom Egypt NetworkOperation Center (TENOC) project.· Assigned to perform tasks in each cycle of the project life cycle "Requirement analysis, Design, Development, deployment and both of Testing and customer acceptance test".· Assigned to perform the OVC/A configuration for switch alarms for the four TE vendors (Lucent, Alcatel, Ericsson and Alcatel). The task includes: o Protocol and alarm message analysis for each vendor. o Perform the alarm configuration on the OVC/A mediation system.· Joined the customer acceptance test for PTU "Pre-TurnUp".· Providing training to TENOC administrator on CL application.· Providing OJT "On Job Training" for TENOC users to teach them how to use the whole solution.· Writing the hardware maintenance training outline and course materials.Achievements:· Successfully designed and developed the required applications within the planned time.· Worked with multi-national team and vendors from US, Europe, India, Egypt and Singapore through various stages of project life cycle.· Received testimonial and several monetary awards for effort and contribution during TENOC project development

GeneralThe communication department of the IDSC center was the nation wide internet serviceprovider in Egypt at that point of time. The department was responsible for the design,implementation and support of the following:· Business-to-Business Internet connection to the major Internet Service Providers "ISP" in Egypt, over 30 ISPs.· Dial-up service to more than 5000 users.· Internet connectivity to more that 100 government authorities.Responsibilities· The network support engineer for the whole IDSC site for more than 350 users.· The IBM PABX support engineer, which has more than 1000 phone lines capacity.· Member of the routing team, responsible for maintaining over 35 Cisco routers. The routers handled are: o Cisco 7500 router o Cisco 4000 series o Cisco 2500 series· Customer support for dial-up users, up to 5000 subscribers.· The administration of the IDSC news server.· Responsible for the network management of the whole site using IBM NetView platform.· Responsible for designing and implementation of LANs in governmental sites.
