About Ahmed Aziz

Over 25 years of experience in both governmental and private sectors, I have earned increasing MEP expertise in both design and construction management to deliver projects' packages, coordination and supervision for many major projects including Hospitals, Mixed-Use Development, Stadium and Sport Facilities beside Commercial and Residential Buildings.My early military background as an Officer Engineer enabled me to gain effective skills in team working, leading people, taking decision in critical situations and challenges which gave me the ability to work to firm deadlines and to independently manage and plan work output under considerable pressure, also it gave me the opportunity to work in some major public projects like Air Ports, Hospitals, Schools and Master Planning. Since I moved to work in Dubai in 2010, I gained a holistic approach to be involved closely with the major developers in UAE as well as working closely with many international firms in construction field including PMC, Contractors, Engineering and Suppliers earning me a strong experience of GCC region regulations and market needs, especially in UAE as well as sharing in design projects in Qatar, Oman and Iraq.

    MEP Manager @ Etihad Arena (YAS Arena) IDR ProjectMiral Asset Management has appointed BAM International to deliver the construction of Yas Arena, an arena with a capacity of 18,000 seats. Yas Arena will be used to host events in a temperature controlled environment and is located on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Abu Dhabi events company Flash Entertainment will host gigs and sports events inside the Yas Arena and it has been designed in a way it can host a variety of events, from tennis tournaments to wrestling matches and more. Work already started on 17 December 2017 and BAM expects to complete Yas Arena by November 2019.The arena is designed by HOK (a global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm), with support from Pascall+Watson. HOK also designed the adjacent arena retail and dining destination along the boardwalk, forming a mixed-use anchor on the east end of Yas Bay.Abu Dhabi events company Flash Entertainment will host gigs and sports events inside the Yas Arena and it has been designed in a way it can host a variety of events, from tennis tournaments to wrestling matches and more.Yas Island is located in Abu Dhabi. BAM International has successfully delivered various projects on Yas Island, including the Crowne Plaza and Staybridge suites hotels, as well as the Welcome Pavilion which provides visitors with a luxury shopping, resting and leisure area before or after the visit to the island’s many attractions such as Ferrari World.
