I am a registered liquidator and Chartered Accountant with in excess of 30 years’ experience in all facets of corporate insolvency.The bulk of my experience has been earned in mid-tier accounting firms.Between October 1999 and September 2000, I was seconded to the then Asset Structuring Unit of the National Australia Bank where my role concentrated on problem loan management, restructuring and customer retention. Between January 2006 and July 2006, I was seconded to the National Insolvency Co-ordination Unit of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.Currently I am a Principal at Loan Link specialising in financial and debt advisory. In addition, I’m a former director of community radio station 3ZZZ and I’ve had past involvements with community groups.Currently I also serve on the committee of the mighty Bees, the Werribee City Football Club.Ultimately I am a dad to four beautiful children, three daughters and a boy!My financial and debt advisory practice aims to provide business clients with advice including but not limited to solvency assessments, strategic, financing, risk management and business solutions. A key objective is to assist clients in being transparent with key stakeholders including key suppliers and financiers in formulating solutions. The advice aims to arm directors and better equip them in making informed decisions. I’ve been involved in assignments across many industries including but not limited to; not for profit, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, tourism, real estate and construction and I’ve served as a quality assurance representative.My experience ideally places me to assist clients facing financial challenges or who are looking to fund their operations and growth. It also places me in a position to assist clients in dealing with and managing the expectations of key stakeholders including but not limited to the Australian Taxation Office, financiers, WorkCover insurers, superannuation fund managers, trade creditors and suppliers given my understanding as to how the banks and the regulator work.
