These days, I'm quietly building products and companies in niches I think are interesting. In the past, I've been a Founder, CEO, Chief Product Officer, and frequent advisor to startups in the world of ed-tech. I served as the Chief Academic Officer at Trilogy Education (University Partnered Bootcamps, 50k+ Learners, >$100M Revenue, $750M exit in 3.5 years), Chief Product Officer at one of the largest Global Executive Education Providers (Emeritus), a Turnaround CEO for a Leading Sales Training Company (Sales Impact Academy), and Co-Founder of a VC backed startup focused on University STEM Feeder Programs (Edge Pathways). Along the way, I've been an advisor and consultant to nearly a dozen ed-tech startups and higher ed institutions through my consulting group, Didactic Labs. I've had the fortune to see both ends of the "startup" story. I've been part of fast-scaling teams that experienced rapid growth and commercial success, as well as those forced to trudge through continuous headwinds and never-ending pivots. So far, I've gained a knack for helping companies think through complex product and operational issues, and in offering fellow founders "real talk" on many of the unstated pitfalls of product and company building. I'm always down to chat with others looking for ideas on product strategy, chats on education at scale, or who just need a healthy dose of founder therapy.
