Responsible of relieving physician in their clerical duties by documenting patient encounter in a fast paced environment. Some responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting the physician in procedures done in office, writing up charts for each patients, initiating certain procedures as a scribe myself, testing Urinalysis labs, rapid strep tests, rapid covid tests, and many other procedures. Will soon be skilled in drawing blood and venipuncture.

Had the responsibility of checking in patients at the front desk. Scheduled new and existing patient appointments. In addition, I had the task of calling patients to confirm appointments during the duration of telemedicine period. Helped physician with billing and updating medical records. I am very familiar with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
