- Manage and maintain ownership of the group company’s o financial policies and procedures o corporate risk register- Provide accounting and analytical support for SCG Subsidiary Companies;- Ensure financial transactions are appropriately recorded for project, department, subsidiary or group transactions;- Ensure correct organizational design and use of the ERP- Assist company and/or department management on financial decisions;- Assist logistics in getting approvals and clearances;- Provide strong management, integration and auditing of the Finance and Functional Area Asset Registers.- Providing commentary on management reports;- Review and periodically audit monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget;- Conduct vendor payables audit based on risk or payments released;- Review and periodically audit project and consumable costings;- Identify ERP usage compliance issues and corrective or preventative actions. - Maintain oversight of inventory and asset registers accuracy and compliance;- Audit reimbursement of company cards and supplier debit accounts- Play a lead role in compiling the annual budget with senior management;- Conduct variance analysis around actual results compared to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost center;- Optimize identified cost centers as required- Participate in systems' and process improvement initiatives;- Analyze financial performance and forecast longer term horizons;- Recommend methods and strategies for cutting cost and finding efficiencies;- Other activities as required;
