As a Security Officer for the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Bangladesh, I have achieved the following: Conducted a comprehensive security risk analysis of ILO premises and made recommendations for practical measures to improve overall security. Implemented these measures, resulting in a 90% reduction in security incidents on ILO premises. Successfully coordinated security plans for major events, including high-level visits from government officials and international dignitaries. Conducted threat assessments and developed contingency plans to ensure the safety of all attendees. Established air, land, and sea evacuation capabilities for emergencies, ensuring the safety and security of staff members in high-risk situations. My key achievements during my tenure included: Successfully ensuring the safety and security of six high-profile VVIP events, which required close collaboration with event organizers, law enforcement agencies, and the hotel management team. Conducting a comprehensive fire evacuation drill in coordination with the Fire Service & Civil Defense Authority, which helped to identify potential areas for improvement in the hotel's emergency response plan and ensured that staff and guests were well-prepared in case of a fire. Developing and implementing a training program for all senior security personnel, which enhanced their knowledge and skills in key areas such as threat assessment, emergency response, and guest safety. This training program resulted in improved performance and higher levels of professionalism among the security team. Collaborating with the hotel management team to develop and implement security plans for specific events such as seminars, conferences, government guests, and weddings. These plans were customized to meet the unique needs of each event and were regularly reviewed and updated to ensure maximum effectiveness.Overall, my leadership and expertise in safety and security management helped to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors at IC Dhaka.

As the Manager of Security Operations, I was responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. My key achievements during my tenure included: I successfully ensured the security of six VVIP flights in Bangladesh, which included coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth and safe flight experience.  I successfully carried out five security investigations, which resulted in satisfactory outcomes, and conducted daily security inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks. One of my most notable achievements during this period was the successful implementation of a comprehensive security plan for a major international conference hosted by Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Through effective collaboration and proactive risk assessment, we were able to ensure the safety and security of all attendees and prevent any security incidents.

As the Security Officer at Youth Group, I was responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all offices, guesthouses, and vehicles. My key achievements during my tenure included: I successfully restructured the entire security management system within just six months of joining. As a Deputy General Manager at Sena Kalyan Sangstha, I spearheaded human resource management, administration, and security operations for three different companies- SKTT, SKSLS, and SKOESL. During my tenure, I delivered outstanding results in the following areas: Human Resource Management: I developed HR strategies, maintained HR policies and procedures, and reviewed organizational structure to develop recruitment policies. I conducted various motivational programs, developed reward and recognition programs, ensured employee training and counseling, and handled grievances. These efforts contributed to a significant improvement in 425 employee’s morale and engagement. Administration: I managed office transport and equipment, led the administration team, and ensured the smooth functioning of office operations. I also implemented cost-saving measures that resulted in a 10% reduction in overhead costs. Security Operations: I ensured the security of information, personnel, and materials for the field offices of three different companies by implementing standard security operations and liaising with law enforcement agencies. Due to my efforts, there were no security breaches during my tenure. One of my biggest achievements during my time at Sena Kalyan Sangstha was successfully launching all three companies on different dates. During my 21-year tenure as a Military Officer at Bangladesh Army, I had the honor of serving my country in various capacities. I delivered outstanding results in the following areas: My primary duties and responsibilities included overseeing and managing a wide range of tasks, including office and staff management, logistics, asset and inventory management, procurement, safety and security management, events management, and day-to-day administrative tasks. Furthermore, I maintained all safety and security equipment and closely coordinated with other functional bodies to ensure smooth operations. As part of my duties, I administrated two security detachments and prepared and maintained all security-related records, such as security standard operating procedures and contingency plans. One of my biggest achievements during my tenure at Bangladesh Army was supervising military field units and training personnel in counter-insurgency operations. My efforts in this area received national-level recognition and were instrumental in maintaining peace and security in the region.Overall, my experience as a Military Officer at Bangladesh Army allowed me to develop a diverse range of skills in leadership, management, and security operations. I am proud to have served my country in this capacity and look forward to leveraging my skills in my future endeavors.

South Sudan

During my time as a UN Security Company Commander at UNMIS, I had the opportunity to work on various assignments aimed at ensuring the safety and security of UN peacekeepers in South Sudan. I delivered outstanding results in the following areas: I successfully conducted regular assessments of local security situations and advised UN staff on potential security threats, and practiced evacuation plans using available resources. I also managed access control in coordination with UNPOL, and liaised with relevant agencies for safety and security. I managed MEDEVAC as required and maintained close liaison with local authorities, tribal leaders, and other international institutions during QIPs and natural disasters.  I successfully executed several projects, including Limited Scale Agro-Based QIP and computer training, which provided opportunities for local communities to improve their livelihoods.  I also introduced a pure drinking water source maintenance mechanism for 5000 people, ensuring access to clean drinking water. Additionally, I conducted an awareness development program for clean washrooms, which benefited 52 families in Maridi.Overall, my experience at UNMIS allowed me to develop strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. I am proud to have had the opportunity to serve the United Nations and contribute to the peacekeeping efforts in South Sudan.

Sierra Leone

As a UN Military Observer with the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL), I was responsible for coordinating routine activities, monitoring security incidents, and leading Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities. My key achievements during my tenure included: I successfully completed a DDR program for 350 ex-combatants and organized 27 meetings, conferences, workshops, and other events related to DDR activities.  I successfully played a key role in addressing gender-based violence (GBV) issues by working with local NGOs to develop strategies and programs to raise awareness and prevent GBV.  Furthermore, I developed my own intelligence network in Freetown, Kailahoon, and Bo, which helped to improve situational awareness and facilitate effective decision-making.Through my leadership and commitment to the mission, I made a significant contribution to the UNAMSIL mandate, supporting efforts to promote peace, security, and stability in Sierra Leone.
