I specialized in construction and real estate matters, including contracts and registration, title searches and due diligence, as well as licensing, regulatory and real estate tax matters and litigation. I regularly drafted and reviewed construction contracts and agreements under various schemes including EPC and FIDIC. I assisted a number of major names in the construction and real estate development fields over the years, including Damac, Emaar, the Egyptian General Company for Tourism & Hotels (EGOTH), the Egyptian Housing and Development Bank, Nile City Investments and Qatari Diar.- Successfully represented East Gate company in the landmark administrative court case releasing it from the payment of EGP 1.38 billion administrative fees imposed by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) in connection with an intra-group acquisition of the company owning the 2,040 feddans in New Cairo, and accordingly allowing the company to maintain its ownership of the land valued at EGP 42 billion.- Represented EGOTH in the review of the contracts for the financing, development, management, and operation of Shepherd Hotel in Cairo for a value of EGP 1.4 billion, and Four Seasons Hotel in Luxor for a value of EGP 1.5 billion.- Represented world's largest fiberglass manufacturer Jushi in the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts related to the acquisition of a total of 220,000 sqm land in the Suez Canal Economic Zone.- Acted for Jamjoom Pharma in the review of the construction contract for an EGP 300 million pharmaceuticals manufacturing facility in Egypt.- Represented Jamjoom Pharma in the review and negotiation of the contracts related to the acquisition of 100,000 sqm land in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in KSA with a value of SAR 65 million for the development of a 150-bed specialized destination hospital.
