• Directing, supervising, instructing and participating in the maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, corrective) conducted by the electrical maintenance team in each of the manufacturing areas, focusing on improving productivity, production yields, time utilization, working environment and safety.• Contributing in preparing the yearly preventive maintenance plan, issuing the monthly maintenance plan, and preparing for the required spare parts according to the approved budget.• Contacting with suppliers and purchasing department to insure that all parts and materials required are on hand, and monitoring spare parts inventory.• Planning, Initiating and carrying out projects that improve efficiency and reduce operating costsEnsuring that all corporate policies and occupational safety and health administration rules are performed when carrying out any maintenance functions.• Preparing, supervising and participating at new equipment and production lines installationsdeveloping the electrical maintenance department by preparing and conducting training plansDefines and lead processes related to integrated management systems (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000, ISO14001, ISO18001).• Develop and implement a policy for more efficient use of energy according to ISO 50001 Energy Management System.• Initiating and participating at Excellence in Maintenance Program by applying EXIM ToolKit on all maintenance activities.

* Maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of production lines (non-returnable PET, can, non-returnable glass bottles and the auxiliaries) from different vendors like Krones, Sidel, Acmi, AF, Atlas Copco … etc.* Contributing at new projects that improve efficiency and reduce operating costs* Preparing, supervising and participating at new equipment Installations* Ensuring that all corporate policies and occupational safety and health administration rules are compiled by, when carrying out any maintenance functions* Managing and supervising maintenance technicians* Performs system analysis, improvement, scoping studies, front-end design work, and/or collaborates on designs with contractors and consultants. * Work involves reading blueprints and product manuals to diagnose problems, then using a variety of tools to make adjustments or repairs.* Maintain and update all documentation for the Engineering department. * Monitor the use and inventories of spares and maintenance equipment and initiate reordering when necessary. * Report all maintenance activities, spares usage and Engineering delays to Engineering Management.

Teaching Electrical Engineering Department Subjects:- Instrumentation and Measurements- Electrical Machines- Electrical Circuits I and II- Electrical Engineering Fundamentals (For both Arabic and Nigerians students)

* Responsible for PLCs units in all plants "4 Plants in the company worked by PLC".* Responsible for VFD programming, commissioning and Maintenance in all plants.* Quick response to plant breakdowns to ensure minimum plant delays. * Monitor operation of plant equipment and system.* Communicate with Production staff to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.* Functions as a troubleshooter and provides technical support to field technician staff* Performs system analysis, improvement, scoping studies, front-end design work, and/or collaborates on designs with contractors and consultants. * Develops, maintains, and optimizes Control Systems implementations including operation & maintenance procedures.* Troubleshoot technical problems for equipment and systems to quickly resolve any issues. Also perform routine maintenance to ensure proper and efficient functioning of equipment and systems. * Work involves reading blueprints and product manuals to diagnose problems, then using a variety of tools to make adjustments or repairs.* Maintain and update all documentation for the Engineering department. * Ensure all maintenance work carried out complies with the company health and safety policy. * Monitor the use and inventories of spares and maintenance equipment and initiate reordering when necessary. * Supervise and coordinate electrical technicians to ensure all works are carried out in a safe and timely manner. * Report all maintenance activities, spares usage and Engineering delays to Engineering and Production Management. * Train and encourage electrical technicians to optimize Engineering performance. * Adopt a Continuous Improvement approach with recommendations for plant improvements and/or modifications.
