Senior Soc Analyst
Current- Continuously monitor and analyze vast amounts of security data, including network traffic, logs, and endpoint, to detect anomalies and uncover hidden threats- Develop and execute advanced threat hunting techniques, such as behavioral analysis, and hypothesis-driven investigations, to proactively identify advanced persistent threats and other sophisticated adversaries- Collaborate with incident response, and other security teams to share investigate incidents, and implement effective mitigation strategies- Recommend tuning Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) filters and correlation rules to continuously improve monitoring and detection- Document and report on threat hunting activities, findings, and recommended actions to help inform security decision-making- Perform digital forensic analysis to identify the root cause, scope, and impact of security incidents- Document investigative findings, and lessons learned to support future incident response efforts and legal proceedings- Participate in evaluating and recommending security solutions to ensure catering for logging and monitoring requirements in any system to fulfil SOC core objectives
