Supporting with technical details, testing, and failure of injectors in test cell and field. Working cross company to resolve issues and find solutions.• Support multiple engine programs for integration of fuel systems parts and components onto engines. Act as the interface for the Diesel Fuel Systems team with the engine program/project. • Investigating, explaining, and presenting the technical detail of failures as well as the solution during failure reporting meetings. Ensuring stakeholders understand the failure and the solution who may not have background related to the failure.• Investigating failure incidents on fuel system using the 7-step fault tree analysis (FTA) product problem solving process.• Drive product validation within fuel systems using technical reports, testing, design reviews, engineering standards, etc. Validation required for clearance to add/remove/change components within system. • Using engineering & technical evaluation to carry out design reviews for new components fitted for fuel systems subsystem. • Develop test plans ensuring all fuel system components meet necessary requirements based on data acquired. • Work with suppliers to communicate technical specifications from print drawing, procedures, test plan, & tracking of parts. • Revise part prints and prepare them to be released so that they can go to a supplier and proceed into production.• Facilitate and participate in FMEA meetings.• Work with subject matters experts to generate a list of testing requirements.

• Investigated, for a new engine program, bolt back out issue on fuel line clamp, taking place in engine test cell. Identified root cause & proposed several solutions which were then presented to the team with a recommendation. Designed & released new part to fix the issue.• Responsible for the design changes of several fuel systems components within Creo- design software.• Redline several fuel systems prints to ensure accurate specifications were communicated and led reviews with suppliers, quality engineers, & drafting team ensuring specifications could be met and releasing new part numbers associated with changes.• Facility visit of pump manufacturer- reviewing prints, quality testing method, & record tracking of each pump.

• Generated/saved the company $80,000 by identifying valves which could be reduced in initial use of raw materials by ensuring the valve was still within safety spec but also met all size requirements.• Worked and designed on Solidworks a valve gripper for a robotic arm for the new automated forge press.• Conducted a capability study on a machine by collecting and analyzing data in order to reduce raw materials in the process.• Conducted a cost analysis on a fire suppression system installed in presses presented findings and suggested improvements.• Eaton Corporation Vehicle Group plant manufactures car valves and car gears for Ford, Chrysler, GM & Honda.
