Seattle South & State Of Alaska (Acting)

Directs and manages the Hotel Operations of nine properties in the Seattle metropolitan area to assure optimum performance and continual improvement in Key Performance Indicators. Oversees, directs and manages Hotel Management and staff for each property to achieve profitability, outstanding customer service, and efficiency while maintaining standards set by the company assuring 100% guest satisfaction.Maintains strong operational partnership with Corporate Field Sales Organization to optimize client service and satisfaction. Manages the team of Hotel General Managers and staff to maximize revenues and flow through to Gross Operating Profit to meet or exceed budgeted EBITDA of each hotel. Responsible for the formulation of each property's Annual Budget, Forecasts and Capital Expenditure Improvement proposal. Responsible for the management of labor standards and property level expenses to achieve maximum flow through to the bottom line for each hotel. Final responsibility for oversight of all financial activities at each property to include reconciliation of all financial accounts.

Greater Seattle Area

Executed rigorous financial and technical analysis on publicly traded equities, global Forex markets, derivatives and options using Graham & Dodd based financial statement comparative analysis to identify investment grade securities and positive ROI trades across multiple time frames. On the technical side, applied an evolving suite of indicators and studies to real-time price movements to identify overbought and oversold equities, derivatives, and forex trading pairs.

San Francisco Bay Area

District Manager of the San Francisco Bay Area for H&R Block. Managed 28 retail locations encompassing 5 cities, including the entire city of San Francisco. Management responsibility for over 200 employees, and over $10 million in annual revenue. During my San Francisco tenure I was a Presidents Club award recipient, and was one of the two District Managers in the company appointed to be a member of the CEO Council. In my final year led the entire company in new client growth. Prior to being promoted to manage the San Francisco Bay Area, I managed the California Coast District—an area encompassing the coastline from Santa Cruz to Monterey, and east to Salinas. I was a Presidents Club recipient in this role as well.Recipient of the H&R Block--Bloch School of Management Scholarship Award. Every year, the CEO of the company personally selects 30 individuals out of over 50,000 eligible employees to attend an intensive, 3-month MBA level Executive Education Program at the Henry Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. This Award is considered one of the highest honors within the company. The successful completion of Block School was a career highlight and a truly unforgettable and invaluable experience.

Senior Operations Manager for FedEx in Silicon Valley. Managed a network of FedEx Shipping Centers and Office and Print Centers, also managed multiple Fortune 500 corporate accounts including Oracle, Electronic Arts, Intuit, YouTube, Google, and Stanford University. I attended Presidents Club and led the company in revenue growth, sales-to-plan, and profitability. Due to my demonstrated success and performance results I was asked to be a Lead Instructor at the FedEx Leadership Development Program, facilitating courses on Strategic Financial Operations, and Growing a Profitable Business. Received Team Player of the Year Award and Outstanding Talent Development Award.
