Recent Bachelor of Commerce Accounting Co-op graduate from the University of British Columbia: Sauder School of Business.My love and passion for mentorship and finance are two things that I can spend hours and hours and keep on wanting more. Let's start with mentorship. Being an absolute introvert starting out in university and honestly almost most of my life, I missed out on a lot of opportunities in connecting with brilliant minds and learning from them. However over the years, I was able to value making genuine relationships and close knit connections. I stepped out of my comfort zone and started giving back to my community in terms of meeting new people, teaching underprivileged high school students (in the UBC Trek Program) and mentoring freshmen at university in finding their passion and a meaningful career (during my time as a Jump Start Orientation Leader). Every new conversation got me more and more uplifted asking myself why I did not open up to people more in the past. However, nothing is never too late!Over the past couple of years, through meeting different people from different backgrounds, I grew another passion of my mine, which is finance. The thrill of opening up my own brokerage account, personal investing, reading about analyst reports and recent market trends is something that I cannot describe with my own words. That's why I have made it my goal to pursue my passion in capital markets while making a difference in other people's lives through sharing my passion, education and knowledge.
