I am a mission-driven tech leader with over 25 years of IT experience, specializing in platform architecture and tech transformations. As the CTO at Stem, Inc., I am accountable for a 200-member team delivering next-gen software, IoT, AI/ML, architecture, devops, infosec, and agile management for the clean energy industry. I oversee the development and deployment of Athena Cloud, the most advanced power generation, storage, and trading platform in the market, as well as Athena Edge, the cutting-edge IoT solution for solar and battery monitoring and control.Prior to joining Stem, I was the CTO/CIO at LiquidX and InBlock, where I built a large global team from scratch and launched two exceptionally innovative fintech platforms for asset trading, digitization, and blockchain. I was the CTO/CIO at Genscape, a B2B commodities SaaS energy information business, where I led the tech transformation and optimization of the technology team. I led the design and delivery of a new cloud-based IoT and ML platform for real-time energy data and analytics. I have a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Oxford and a passion for emerging technologies such as robotics, nanotech, drones, and image analysis.
