I am a highly motivated and energetic Engineer with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. I have experience working in Manufacturing, particularly in the oil and gas and aviation industries. I have successfully executed projects across all design stages including concept, prototype and testing. I possess a wide variety of people skills that have allowed me to successfully interact with customers, suppliers and team members. As a Team Leader, I have been able to execute projects and mitigate risk through the engineering cycle as well as assist in gaining marketshare in the industry. I am adaptable and my creative thinking has assisted me in attaining and exceeding my goals.My passion is running and bicycling with swimming being the latest addition to my sporting repertoire. I take pride in overcoming my fear of water, allowing me to compete in Ironman Texas in 2014, Ironman Cozumel in 2015, and Ironman Louisville in 2016. I have also competed in 10 Half-Ironman events and I'm currently training for an Ironman in Spain. For Running, I have finished 24 full marathons and 10 half-marathons. I have set a goal of completing a marathon in every US state and have expanded that goal to include international events, having finished marathons in Greece, Rome, Berlin, and Ireland.
